My Writing

The Adventure Of A Lifetime

Pua cast his line from the dinghy and it snagged straight away. Uncle tried to help him reel it in but it wouldn’t budge. Suddenly the skies turned grey, the sea got choppy and a giant pirate ship bubbled up from the depths of the ocean dwarfing uncles dinghy. “Let’s go find some treasure on this boat.”
“Ohhhh Uncle we’ve been looking for ages and ages.”
“Look there’s a whole room of treasure. Hurray Hurray treasure. Yes let’s go  sail this boat home.”
“Let’s go see the family back at home.”
“Uncle are we there yet?”
“Nearly Pua.”
“Hey Uncle is this boat abandoned?”
“Yea I’m guessing it is because there's no one on it.” “Ok we’re home now.”
“Hi Pua did you catch anything for us.”
“No but we found treasure instead.”
“Well that’s even better. Why don’t you go and get food to cook for dinner.”
“Ok then mum.”
“So Pua what do you want for dinner?”
“Um can we have pizza.”

“Ok then Pua let’s go and find the pizza in one of the iles.”
